Owners Mandy and Gary Schoenberger are both musicians. Mandy plays upright bass and sings. Gary, a singer/songwriter, regularly performs in and around the St. Louis area and occasionally at the Cafe. They both perform with their band the Perfect Strangers, and 2017 saw the release of their album "Broken". Music, the arts, and community are at the heart of the Webster Groves Garden Café. 

 

Mandy Schoenberger, on top of working as a radiation therapist at Barnes-Jewish Hospital for about 30 years, she is also a longtime lover of coffee. She has two daughters and a son.

Gary Schoenberger is a retired school teacher. He has two daughters, Abbie and Madeline,

a granddaughter named Scarlet, and a grandson named Jameson.
